It's not our first time on the rodeo, so we could usually spot the first couple of red flags in a toxic relationship before we're too deep in. The thing is even if we see that there are issues from the get-go, if we find the person attractive enough and there's enough chemistry there, we might choose to overlook the red flags and hope for the best. We'll think to ourselves: 'Maybe it'll be different this time. He's not like the others. Even if he is a tad bit like the others, surely I'll be able to change him.' Girl, we get where you're coming from, but you shouldn't be trying to change him. Only a baby needs to be changed, not a freaking man who you're pursuing a romantic relationship with. We need to wake up before we're too deep in again. Perhaps the toxic relationship memes below will help us see the light.
